Ahhhh – Valentine’s Day. Time to break out the reds and the haute pinks! And lest we forget the endless replay of sappy tunes (Jim Brickman, anyone? No judgement… I personally love him).
This year – LD was most concerned about keeping in the spirit of love without sacrificing her own personal style. She’s not typically into pink or red dresses with pretty flowers and hearts – much to both of her Grandmas’ chagrin. But since it is Valentine’s day and she is crazy about her “Grammies”, she decided to find something that keeps all parties happy. A little old-school-meets-new-school, if you will.
With a love for whimsy, an awe for the 50’s, and an obsession with accessories – we settled on this:

But after giving it much thought…
She put her ‘smart‘ on…
And her go-to fascinator…
And she cast aside any hint of Valentine’s day skepticism…
Even if it meant yet ANOTHER photo <Insert bribes of endless Dora and bites of chocolate from mama here> …
In no time, little mama soaked in all the fun, and relished all the cute! I couldn’t get this little Valentine of mine to stop laughing!
