Is your little one shy? Does he have separation anxiety? Does she tend to find comfort in hiding? Do they ever yearn company and appear to enjoy being among their peers, yet need some time to adjust?
If I were to answer any of these questions, I would say – yes. To all of them. And truth be told – I would be answering them about, believe it or not… yours truly (once upon a time, that is…)
My little mama doesn’t have much trouble making friends – however, there are those moments where nothing can beat the comfort of mommy’s shirt, or daddy’s arms. And when we manage to get her detached for 30 seconds, she finds comfort in the company of random miniature toys and anything she can hold on to, in the safety of her own pockets.
When we had the privilege to cross paths with the folks behind Pocket Frenz – it was incredibly timely and enlightening. Not strangers to shyness and separation – these parents took their inspiration of wanting to provide their little ones with the comfort they so desire. Something that could give their kids the empowerment of imaginative gameplay through tactility and practicality. A concept so simple, yet profound – Pocket Frenz provides all of these things and more, built into the pockets of these unique and stylish hoodies.
We have always been a fan of attachment parenting – or attachment anything, for that matter. So when we discovered the attachment feature of the pocket characters for the kids to have something to hold on to, we couldn’t wait to give it a try!
The velcro attachment allows for easy accessibility and flexibility of the built-in character. But the idea is not only an innovative concept supporting interactivity and imagination – it is also an example of excellent workmanship. These hoodies are made of high quality materials – both exemplifying durability and comfort. We love the dimension of each style adorned with soft trim and fun graphics that tell a story – one that only your child can tell.
From a Message in a Pocket, to Release Your Inner Beast, to Sport Frenz, to the original collection – these styles were designed with kids in mind!
LD felt the story that she could relate to the most, would be the story of the Petal Twinz.
Daisy and Petunia Petal (AKA Petal Twinz) are twin siblings who’ve never heard of the term “late bloomer.” They may look alike and read each other’s minds, but they’ve got unique styles all their own. With Petal Twins in your pocketz, you’ve rocking flower power!
Looks like LD has definitely found the happy ending to her own personal story.
She even insisted on wearing it to dance class. With her too-cool-for-dance-school shades from Paxley (more on this awesome brand to come shortly), little mama was ready to kick separation anxiety and shyness right in the butt!
Have you or your kids ever experienced separation anxiety? What is the one thing that brings them comfort?
