As we approach the Spring season, LD and I have decided to hang on to the Winter – or what’s left of it. As I look through our closets – we are realizing that we have yet to highlight some of our key Winter gear.
One of our fave go-cute-or-go-home “Go-to” outfits is LD’s iXtreme Pea Coat and Milk ‘n Honey Tweed Leggings. Okay, so every corner we are stopped and complimented on how charming and adorable my little BOY is – but hey… LD will take any compliment with open, chubby arms. She is no stranger to Tomboy Chic and embraces it wholeheartedly. In honor of one of Mama’s fashion forward (um… or is it more like fashion backward?) decades – the crazy ’80s, LD’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves – boyfriend-style, and ever-so cautiously, she accents the look with her fab-n-fringe Child’s scarf from Zara Kids.
…and lest we forget our black Roca Wear velcro Penny loafers to complete the look.

Milk and Honey Tweed Leggings
Somewhere in LD‘s lineage are a people of the Great white North, so it’s no wonder she feels at home in her tan Baby Gap Faux-fur trimmed sherpa corduroy hoodie. She feels so warm and cozy, I had to negotiate finger foods in exchange for a seamless (sans kicking and screaming) removal of her jacket.
We’re all about the POC (Pop-of-Color), but in this instance, we couldn’t help but complete the look with her matching H&M Kids faux-fur-trimmed suede mittens, and her oh-so-cozy Velour Faded Glory Originals all in soft Tan.
Claesen’s Australia Winter 2013 collection is so adorable it’s enough to make us say “Oi!”. Known for their modern styles, unique designs, and comfort, Claesen’s showcases their premium quality clothing as seen here in LD‘s new Dutch-inspired Jacket and matching skirt.
Baby Girl doesn’t mess around. When she yearns for cute – she means cute. Looks like she’s ready to go for a nice bottle of steamed (lukewarm, only please) milk at the kiddy corner Starbucks.
Now that we have rummaged through LD‘s closet – we’re ready to make room for her new Spring 2012 wear. We have some sweet surprises from Tea Collection and Up And Away Jackets that we CAN’T WAIT to show off! So stay tuned! In the meantime, I don’t know about you – but we’re still hanging on to our Winter Gear until the bitter end because, “Baby, it’s cold outside”….
