One year ago this day, Big Daddy and I experienced the most life-altering moment that changed the course of our existence. This moment was a gift. A gift that was packaged in a nice, big, shiny, pink bow (more like emerald green with brown accents). A miracle, really. And it happened in a blink of an eye.
