Target Hits the Bullseye with Spring/Summer 2013 Looks at petitePARADE

Anyone who knows LD – knows she is Target‘s biggest tiniest fan.  From her dose of Harajuku Mini to “Omigosh – it’s OshKosh“, to her fashion-fling with D’signed by Disney, her warddrobe was complete for this past Fall/Winter Season.  But now that Spring has sprung, and Summer is a-comin’ – we were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the SS2013 collection at petitePARADE during Kid’s Fashion Week held at the Industria Superstudio in New York City.

From the front row, we were greeted with an abundance of vibrant colors, including fun patterns of old school hopscotch cascading the runway.

Bullseye stuffies acted as placeholders to keep the seats warm for eager guests and press.

LD was no exception:

The models were as colorful as the gear they showcased, and the energy of the entire show was palpable enough to stretch out to our friends in the west coast, just in time for  LA Fashion Week.

Some of our favorite Target-exclusive lines including Circo, Xhilaration, Cherokee, D’Signed by Disney, Genuine Kids by OshKosh, and Shaun White were featured on the runway.  The looks ranged from flirty feminine to casual cool.  We loved the pairing, accessorizing, and the overall styling, thanks to Jennifer Smith, who curated the Target looks for the entire event.  And just when you thought you would have to wait another few months to get your hands on these haute looks, for the most part, they are already available at a Target near you.

Here are some of the looks for our little mamas – a touch of edge, a little sporty, and a whole lotta pretty:

Even layers of seersucker (LOVE!) found its way onto the runway.

The little men strutted their stuff with skater-inspired graphic tees in spring hues, matched flawlessly with loose fit bottoms.

We loved how the Novogratz brothers made a special appearance while members of their fab family enjoyed the show from their front seats.

Of course, the tiny tots of Target stole the show with their innate sense of style, swag, and charm.

We were delighted to see Bullseye making his grand appearance, and later handing out autographs in form of licks and photo-ops.  We quite enjoyed the foreshadowing of his grand entrance with his mini-me giveaways.

Not surprising, LD had to get her chubby little paws on the bull terrier that melted hearts on the runway.  She was skeptical at first, later realizing Bullseye was just as lovely in person (or should I say in “dog”), as he was as a seat warmer.

petitePARADE sure hit the bullseye celebrating the unveiling of Target‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.  These Target-exclusive brands offer looks that are charming, playful, and inclusive of every shade of the colorwheel. Everything we love about Spring!

And right in time for our  Canadian counterparts to enjoy Target‘s grand opening!
