LD‘s new obsession: The Natural and Berry stripe Babe & Tess dress from our fave Brooklyn-based NYC boutique, Mon Petit. She could barely resist yanking the feather-light, super comfy and ultra girlie dress off the body form. And don’t even get me started with her oh-so-pretty Manuela de Juan Magenta patent leather maryjanes.
Without wasting another moment, I put little mama in what has now been deemed the most comfortable frock in her closet. Its delicate features could only be accessorized with earth tone bangles from Quinntessentials, topped off with her go-to Hooty Schoolboy Cloche from Goorin Bros.
This soft cotton dress is made in Italy, and just like anything else Italian-made in our tiny fashionista’s closet, the quality is bar none. Perfect for spring, this light weight dress is purdy, flirty, and incredibly light weight without being too delicate. In fact, this ended up being the perfect dress of choice for a little posh play.
Sure, it wrinkles with a dance move here,
…and a bendy-bend there,
But that is what’s to be expected when dealing with some of the world’s finest materials. And comfort is key when it comes to our littles.
Speaking of comfort, it took prodding, bribing, and whole lotta empty promises to get little mama to take off her Manuela de Juan Magenta patent leather Maryjanes (also conveniently made available at Mon Petit Child), at any point of the day. I am still struggling, as I write this. With its snap closure, it would have been a simple process, but LD loved the feel and comfort so much, she insisted on wearing them all day, all evening, and right into bed.
