Earlier this month, petitePARADE presented its 5th season of Kid’s Fashion Week in collaboration with Vogue Bambini, at the Industria Superstudio in New York City, and what a show it was!
Some of the most influential industry experts, bloggers, and tastemakers were in attendance. Sean “Diddy” Combs was definitely a familiar face that beamed with pride in the front row, as the apple”s” of his fashion-saavy eye made their debut on the catwalk.
Heidi Klum celebrated the first anniversary of her line, Truly Scrumptious, exclusively available at Babies “R” Us. It was the perfect way to start the weekend of fun-filled fashion.
Balloon art, bold colors, and all that is whimsical cascaded baby runway.
Swarovski, the leader in cut crystal and fashion jewelry, adorned the gorgeous looks of Baby CZ, BabyDoll by Dorian Ho, IKKS Junior, Junior Gaultier, Lili Gaufrette, Little Marc Jacobs, Milly NY, Mischka Aoki, Nina Kids Shoes, Ooh! La La! Couture, Pituchinhus, Roberto Cavalli Junior, RUUM, Salsa, Simonetta, T-Shirt T-Shops, Tartine et Chocolat, and one of our household favorites – Pale Cloud.
Here are some of the looks that caught our eye:
Fave Little Mama Spring/Summer ’14 looks:
Fave Little Dude Spring/Summer ’14 looks:
Fave Little Miss Fancy looks:
Fave Baby-it’s-cold-outside Winter ’13-’14 looks:
Speaking of keeping things cozy, you can imagine our delight when LD and I caught wind of the mother-daughter curated looks featuring UGG Australia.
But the stylin’ tootsies were not all that grabbed our attention… once again, the hair “art” featuring Hot Tot children’s hair products styled by Jemma Muradian and her glam squad – did not disappoint with the perfectly manicured looks that meticulously complimented each piece featured down the runway. And we’re not being biased, although we’ve had our own amazing experience with Hot Tot during last season’s petitePARADE.
It was a perfect ending to a fabulous day with cutting-edge looks from Parsons: The New School for Design. All I can say is… Wow! (and gimme some of that!)
Day 1 proved to be a whimsical fashion wonderland and represented all that is joy, and all that is… kid!
