When we are speaking of fine fabrics, relaxed contours, and a combination of classic elements with a modern touch – Pale Cloud immediately comes to mind. Maintaining its reputation of being a high end fashion brand that celebrates luxury design with a contemporary spirit, its no wonder others in its class pale in comparison, pun intended.
This Spring/Summer 2013, the Pale Cloud collection brings an evening glamour into everyday dressing. 1960’s influenced, a fashion forward era, this season introduces a collection that leaves us spellbound.
In order to fully maximize the fluidity of the S/S 2013 collection pieces, it is imperative to highlight this season’s lookbook while enjoying them runway-bound. Here are some of our favorite pieces that made quite the impact on our little In-house Fashionista (as well as her mother).
The delicate Lillie Top styled with Elfie Shorts, and the Janice Dress:
We love the gold embellishments on the flower beautifully adorning the lovely Janice Dress in light grey.
RUNWAY BOUND: Here is the Lille Top matched with the Alma Pant and Charlize Jacket.
RUNWAY BOUND: The Lillie dress and Lorraine Belt. This sheep leather belt with gold studs is a definite must-have for your little lady’s closet.
The Ella Dress accessorized with the Lorraine Belt (quite the multi-faceted belt, wouldn’t you agree?), Pauline Top matched with the Darline Pants, and the Jessie Dress with the Grace Jacket.
RUNWAY BOUND: The Pauline Dress in pale pink, an extension of the stone washed silk top as seen above, gathered at the neckline with the braided leather tie string creates a beautiful, flowing drape.
The Elfie Dress in pale pink silk, brags of a gorgeous neckline highlighting gold sequin trimming with a matching embellished belt.
RUNWAY BOUND: Yet another one of those fine, subtle details that are so meticulously designed, is the feminine sheer trim at the neckline.
RUNWAY BOUND: If the dress isn’t enough, it comes as a top, styled beautifully with the equally stunning Grace Skirt (I definitely need to get my hands on the mommy-version of this skirt, pronto!)
The Hazel Top and Florence Pants, as well as the Ella Blouse matched with the Grace Skirt.
RUNWAY BOUND: The Hazel Dress is soft cotton blend with raw edge crinkled silk. Magical, really.
The Audrey Dress in peach. This A-line maxi is made of 100% silk crepe and is a stand out with its embellished neckline.
A 1960’s mod design with a contemporary flavor. If only I could find a way to squeeze myself into this without making a scene.
The more delicate, yet playful, Emma Dress:
RUNWAY BOUND: Made of 100% silk chiffon, with a sateen trim and elasticized waist.
The Alma Dress:
RUNWAY BOUND: Two silk textures are used to create this unique layered effect. Two words: I. Want. Two more words… “For ME”.
Pale Cloud continues to wow us with their delicate fabrics, unique styles, and meticulous embellishment. Of course, all this talk of the runway, it is only appropriate to see it in action. Here is a video of the stunning SS13 collection as seen on the petitePARADE catwalk in conjunction with Vogue Bambini.

**FALL/WINTER 2013 SNEAK PEEK**
Although Spring is just moments away (Yes – I know, some areas aren’t so lucky… hang in there friends, just think – you have much more prep time before bikini weather, unlike the rest of us!) – the fashion world is already setting its proverbial peepers on the Designer trends for Fall/Winter 2013. We’re looking forward to giving you a sneak peek from this coming NY Kids Fashion Week at petitePARADE that LD and I will be privileged to attend in a few weeks.
Just a little taste: Inspiration for the Fall/Winter Line is based on Nordic Goddesses and Scandinavian Mythology. We are at the edge of our seats ready to see a brand new collection of exquisite pieces, in a season that inspires darker tones, metallic, pewter and crystal embellishment, trench coats, capes, and do I hear… wait for it… LEATHER DRESSES??
More to come on this stunning collection. Stand by!
Stylishly yours,
