Harajuku Mini, since its debut a year ago, has been our go-to outfits for any and all occasions (and No Doubt, we have an abundance of styles to last us a toddler year) for our Japanese-inspired fix. Every little girl and a good amount of little boys need to be, at the very least, exposed to the likes of Harajuku Mini. The styles are edgy, fun, and make quite the bold statement – and quite effortlessly, if I may say so myself. They range from casual chic to daring and dressy – but any Target® or Harajuku Mini Fan could detect a Harajuku Mini outfit a mile or 10 away!
Of course, LD had to have her dose of leopard print, but it wasn’t your everyday mini version of Big Mama’s dresses – as most toddler dresses seem to emulate nowadays. With it’s Peter Pan Collars, subtle lace trim, and adorable bow tie-up, the Harajuku Mini for Target® Infant Girls’ Leopard Print Dress maintains a sweet innocence perfect for your our little ladies.
Doesn’t Miss Thang look so pleased with herself? In an outfit like this, she stays true to her inner Girlie-girl, yet continues to bring out a touch of little lady. This is definitely Big Daddy approved.
And if your mini fashionista isn’t in the mood for full-body animal print, she can opt for the Harajuku Mini for Target Toddler Girls’ Leopard Print Skirt which presents much of the same WOW! factor as the dress with its multi-tier pleats and sweet lace trim.
On the other side of the style-spectrum, we came across the most adorable crew neck graphic tee with slight puff short sleeves:
LD found a perfect match to this little black top and it was found in the Cherokee section of Target®, the Cherokee Infant Toddler Girls’ Animal Print Jeans in Grey:
And her go-to Roxie Black Patent Livie and Luca Boot, tying in the hot pink trim:
This outfit pretty much had me wrapped around its little finger (much like the model herself):
Of course, I just had to pick up a pair of big Mama Animal print jeans for myself… I mean, how could a mother resist??
In keeping with LD‘s mama’s secret obsession (well, I guess it’s not so secret anymore) with the obsessed-worthy Twilight series and its ridiculously adorable Vampires, this Harajuku Mini Apple Green Graphic Tee highlights the world’s most delish vampire.
Yes, this has a Halloween flair to it, but we’re not too worried. Here’s the deal – if it says the words Bite and Style in the same sentence, that’s all LD needs to give it her stamp of approval! We even think there’s a teeny weeny resemblance between our little neck biter and the stylish vampire on the top, wouldn’t you agree?
With a pair of Old Navy Terry Dress Pants in black (SALE ALERT!!!)
and LD‘s Finley biker boots from See Kai Run,
… she’s cute enough to bite.
Speaking of adding some bite to your wardrobe – LD refused to end the day without giving the Harajuku Mini for Target® Infant Girls’ 2 Piece Skirted Bodysuit and Legwarmer Set a try.
A little Rocker, a lotta pink, this outfit screams fun and unique – and LD is all about it. With the satin bow to add a classic touch – you can’t go wrong with the checkerboard leggings, bodysuit bottoms, and puffed short sleeves. There is so much dimension in this haute pink little number, LD didn’t quite know what to do with herself.
So she put on her dancing shoes and rocked it out…
And pretty much rocked the house down.
Our Harajuku Mini at Target® Day was a success. We managed to touch on some animal print, settle on a casual number, and edge it out with some tulle and checkers – highlighting some of our fave Japanese-inspired looks. We even managed to score on a couple deals – we love the clearance racks, as I know you do too!
Stay tuned for Day 5, as we take our Mission to the outdoors – just in time to keep our shivering little bundles of Joy nice and toasty.
Stylishly yours,
db
