Everyday is “Target” day. When I need to buy toothpaste, or get a prescription, pick up some lip balm, grab a box of diapers, or even score myself a good deal on family sized cereal and bananas – Target is my first choice. However, one would assume – a one stop shop to pick up your groceries and hygiene products would most likely not be a place to pick up an outfit (or 3) for your little one (or you!). But times have changed, and we live in a day and age where convenience is key. So in actuality, a one stop shop like Target, could in fact, be THE stop for our kiddie’s fashion needs.
Target carries some of the cutest brands for our little miniatures – from the well known brands like Genuine Kids from Osh Kosh, Harajuku Mini, Cherokee, and Disney®. We were excited to highlight some of our favorite finds that we are certain will make it on your Target list.
Today is Disney® Day. With Big Daddy as our shopping buddy – it is imperative that we pay homage to his love for ol’ Walt and the original characters.
One of our family faves, Thumper, really caught our eye:
The Disney® Infant Toddler Girls’ Thumper Set in Dusty Peach is not only a good dose of Old School Disney®, but the style is perfect for our rambunctious little monkeys. We love the flexibility the mid-length rolled sleeve gives our little ladies, and the asymmetry in the front and back of the cotton top is both fashionable and practical. The stripe leggings are ankle length and keeps the set casual and fun.
LD insisted that the look would only be complete with her Cherokee Newsboy Hat in Brown:
And her fabulous trendy Minnetonka suede bootie moccasins:
Another piece with character and asymmetry was the Disney® Infant/Toddler/Girls’ Figaro Tee in Charcoal:
The asymmetry in the hem made it imperative to match it with a contrasting skirt. Naturally, we chose the Disney® Infant/Toddler/Girl’s Ruffle Skirt in, well.. Natural:
And lest we forget her Metallic Charcoal Chucks from the Crayola Collection:
As soon as LD put this little outfit on, we then realized that the back of the oh-so-adorable cotton top, showcases Figaro’s back as well. How clever.
Now you’d think this little ensemble was enough to make a statement, however, LD wanted to add a little more dimension to the look. Just in case it gets a little nippy out there, we figured the Chero Solid Blazer in Grey would do the trick:
And the three most important accessories of all, a pair of Raybans, a dark, floral print scarf, topped off with a little ‘tude. Who’s “catty” now, you ask?:
Finally, the last of our character tees that got LD really excited was the Disney® Infant/Toddler/Girls’ Oswald Tee in Pink. As always, she insists this is a perfect example of “Good” pink, with its vintage finish:
This tee, like the others we highlighted above, have a stylish asymmetry that adds a little “edge” to the look, so to speak:
And similar to the Figaro style, the multi-Oswald pattern in the back of the shirt is simply adorable:
Can’t forget LD‘s Rocker Roxie Black Patent Livie and Luca Boot:
And of course her not-quite-a-little-black-dress Tutu, made with love by mama.
We had quite the busy day going through Disney’s characters a la Target. Stay tuned for more of our mommy-daughter adventures as we sift through the racks of the world’s coolest one-stop-shop.
Stylishly yours,
