When you google the phrase “SERIOUSLY?” – there is no doubt in my mind that this sweet, little face is the first to pop up. From his chubby little toes all the way up to his little button nose – this Urban Gent knows exactly how to charm the pants off all the ladies – even if his own pants are held up by detachable suspenders from H&M kids. He tops this look off with an adorable glen plaid fedora – which he insists, no one year old boy (or girl, as far as LD is concerned) should ever live without. I’m certain it spends more time in between his handful of chompers than on his head, but the fact still remains – it’s an essential piece in one’s wardrobe.
When the Urban Gent has fully immersed himself in his share of hipster charm, it’s hats off, and Casual Cool takes over the scene, like a calm after a stylin’ storm. He figures a freshly pressed button-down collar from Mexx Kids and a pair of loose fit jeans is all you need to make a statement – and indeed, a statement he makes. Notice how comfort and simplicity goes hand-in-hand with confidence and natural swag?
Speaking of effortless, The Urban Gent claims the way right into Mama’s heart is to wear Daddy’s jersey. It’s always Jersey day in this little guy’s household – so his mantra (aside from “Don’t bite your friends” accompanied by his buddies, Yo Gabba Gabba) is almost always – “waddle away from the onesie and get me my jersey!” With Daddy being quite the athlete, it’s no wonder his mini-me is quite the cutie.
When this little man has had enough of the bottom-less look – he switches things up and goes topless. Who needs a starched collar, when you could get away with nothing but a fat tie? Yes – the boy next door is all about the skinny tie, as is every other toddler on the block… but not the Urban Gent. He is urban after all! A striped tie, a pair of baggy jeans, and a sweet smile can get anyone to cave and buy him whatever new gadget his darling little heart desires.
But nothing is more delicious than a gigantic cupcake being demolished by the stylin’ swag himself, in his birthday suit! Who needs threads anyway? Of course, I would be in big trouble if we all walked around in our birthday suits with nothing to style except the icing on our faces! But I digress – it’s not about keeping me employed (well, it kind of is…) – it’s about how ridiculously versatile and UH-dorable this little man is from his urban wear, to sporting bare.
