LoveMyAlannah, Part 1 – Love My Gold Medallion

LD and I aren’t really gold people. So when we received the Gold Medallion chain from LoveMyAlannah – we didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.  But once we placed this little piece of golden heaven around LD‘s little neck, we did both. Hands down, it is the most adorable necklace this part of the world has ever seen.  It is also a miracle worker – as it has managed to singlehandedly pull out the ultra fem in my tomboy toddler’s usual daily flair.

Apparently, all she needed was a gold medallion to catapult an accessory explosion of all that is fancy, and voila… a princess was born!

Or should I say… Miss Thang?

We love how the gold medallion chain carries enough substantial weight so that we are not just lost in the charm of its immediate aesthetics.  There is no chipping here, considering its affordability. Although it is not made of precious metals or stones like most costume jewelry readily available in retail, these fabulous pieces have longevity and quality with the proper care and maintenance (LMA has even included a Merchandise Care Checklist for easy reference! The chain is also delicate and light-weight enough for little mama to decorate her neckline, the part of her pint-sized frame that she is most particular about, next to her feet (good gravy, this little mama is my child!).
