It’s no surprise that LD was performing various renditions of the happy dance when our anticipated delivery from Good Boy Friday arrived. We were delighted to find an entire outfit perfectly packaged straight from a lovely design studio in San Francisco.
Yes – boys are certainly the main focus here, however, when I first caught wind of this fab collection, I knew that LD just had to get in on the action as well.
With an urban twist, and a European flair, this brand of closet staple basics pride themselves in quality and comfort.
What really stood out to us were the Lou Pants:
These Japanese cotton twill pants are extra comfortable and slim fitting for our handsome little dudes (and fabulous dudettes). What really sticks out to us is the easily adjustable and accessible exterior button-hole elastic cleverly placed at the sides of the waist. No need for belts, which gives our active little munchkins more flexibility and less bulk. We love the colors ranging from earthy to bold. LD of course lives by the mantra – go bold, or go home, so of course we opted for the obvious choice.
The fitted Fine-line Denim Button-up is a perfect match to the twill pants, as is the Chambray Button up.
We happily gave the Fine-line Denim Button up a test run (quite literally, as you will soon see). And we were delighted to find a wonderful accessory to complete the look. A special item from dapper beaux – a smart little bowtie perfect for the tiniest model.
But why was LD so blue?
It dawned on me – our little Good Girl Tuesday needed to girlify this fabulous little number from Good Boy Friday, while remaining true to her inner tomboy chic. And girlify she did.
A slight resemblance to yet another iconic woman, not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get the job done, don’t you agree?
With popped collars, rolled up sleeves, a bowtie functioning as a shirt tieholder and a couple girlie accessories, we had one very happy customer.
Good Boy Friday lives up to their promise of comfort, quality, and flexibility, indeed. I could barely keep up with the now Girl Friday who wanted nothing more than to show off her new threads. The slim fit of the button up and the twill bottoms kept the outfit in place while little mama did her best to dance her blues away. She felt so cool, she even had to sport her matching retro shades.
We’re happy to report, 2 chubby thumbs up for Good Boy Friday!
