As if we were going to spend Smallie‘s very first All Hallow’s Eve’s Eve twiddling our thumbs, wondering what we were going to wear on THE most exciting dress-up day of the entire year! Nope! Not us! We decided to stop thinking about it… instead, we were going to have a full-blown DRESS REHEARSAL!
And yes, once again – I dress my dogs. Hello…. I’m a Stylist. Don’t judge me.
As you can see, ever since Little Mama was born, we have decided we’re going to be THAT family.
Yup.
The kind that dresses up in harmonious themes. “Shall we all be superheroes this year?” “Nah – Cosplay’s for Comicon“. “Shall we dress up as a bunch of Angels?” Umm… It’s Halloween, we’re not supposed to dress up as ourselves! (Har har) “Or how about we dress up as our daily recommended intake of veggies?” Smallie was all about it, as she was spotted early this week proudly bundled up as a Red Bell Pepper. On the other hand, her father… Mr. Fashionisto in his own right… well…he’s not much of a Bell-pepper-but-easily-mistaken-as-a-strawberry fan. He would much rather be seen among his fellow GQ-worthy colleagues in something he would actually wear on a Saturday night (sans mask, although, I’m sure there are a good handful of folks that like to wear masks on a random Saturday night). Whatever the case, Mama had some work to do to make the whole gang happy.
And this was our compromise:
Something cute, a little stylin’, and definitely a traffic stopper. No really, I’m not being facetious. We seriously stopped traffic… we would see cars rubbernecking and coffeeshop regulars gawking at us to see if Smallie was a stash of Benjamins from the neighborhood bank. Luckily, the sleeping Bag of Money softened their seemingly doubtful hearts.
Meanwhile, back at the station, Kevin the pug and Seth the Pomchi are proudly sporting their K-9 Unit uniform fully equipped with authority, quiet confidence, and a set of fluffy handcuffs! As you can see, Seth prefers a tilted police cap in honor of his European Homies, and Kevin… well… he’s just hoping at the end of all this madness he’ll be awarded good-behavior snacks. .
Okay – so we went a little overboard. Or did we? Drop me a line or two and tell me what you think of our little get-up! We welcome your thoughts, as it will certainly give us some ideas for Halloween 2012! Better yet, tell US what you, your little one(s), or your entire family dressed up as this marvelous Halloween Weekend?
In the meantime – one money bag is going to spend the rest of her Halloween catching up on much-deserved zzz’s.
…All this commotion has pretty much left our super stylin’ Moneybags very “SPENT”…
Addendum for 2017: If you’re on the hunt for this baby bunting money bag, it might be a little hard to find. So get creative! Click on the money bag below, and attach it to the front of or around of your baby carrier, and voila – Money bag bunting!
