September is here, and most of us parents look at this time as a fresh start. School is back, and routines are in full effect for the entire fam jam.
One of the joys of being a mama is playing a huge role in my little one’s everyday learning. She explores the world every single moment her eyes are open (and lately, it’s been tough to keep them closed). Now that she is in preschool (and loving it), she has been all about her ABC’s, 123’s, nursery rhymes, and everything and anything she can recite (ad nauseam). Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE hearing her sing her ABC’s and “The Wheels on the Bus” over and over… and over… and over… but sometimes, it’s just as cute when she can write it, and even more wonderful, if she can…
… wear it.
When our friends at Pop Kids came up with their most brilliant collection of eclectic, colorful, and whimsical graphic tees, we were counting the seconds before we could finally get our tiny little hands on a few.
LD was most impressed by how clever the designs were – namely, the cool and playful version of her favorite song of all time. All she wanted to do was play and get into all kinds of fun mischief in her brand new, delightful version of ABC on a tee. (hey, that rhymes!)
As the offspring of a Graphic Designer and Illustrator (not me, her Big Daddy) – LD is naturally drawn to unique and blocky typography, bold enough to see, yet simple enough to comprehend. We love the vintage-meets-pop feel of the styles offered, which falls right into our family’s fashion mantra: If it can’t stand the test of time, it ain’t worth wearing.
Go on, little mama, with your word-wearing, sharp lookin’ self!
And you know us – we’re not just about words without action! We love to share all this fabulousness with our friends!

These are so awesome!
Let’s see…. My kid is 15 months. Buuuut if she could pick one herself I would have to say it would be “the wild one” tee. Because wow is she all over the place and loving it!
If I were to pick for her, maybe peace & love or the Beatles, oh or Bugs & Slugs. Clearly I have no decision making skills. ! HAHAHA.
