A Fancy Date with Daddy – Father’s Day Weekend

This past Father’s Day weekend, LD proudly escorted her handsome date – Big Daddy, as he tearfully watched his baby cousin exchange vows. Mommy was occupied singing love songs (yes, when I’m not too busy working with kids and their threads, I sing on the side. Random, right?) to join in on the fashion fun.

And yes, to match his daughter’s haute pink maryjanes, Big Daddy sported his pink soles. Sigh. We are a match made in heaven.

Normally, we would be paranoid about losing the runaway wannabe bride – but with her big ol’ hat, she was always easy to spot.

And like any mini-fashionista, little mama did the proverbial costume change into her party time dress for the evening celebrations. She decided to downsize her sinamay fascinator to something a little more subtle. After all, she needed the flexibility to mow on some delectable wedding cake, and dance the night away with her handsome date.

From making a statement…

… to making a slight understatement – LD kept things bold, unique, and fun. Coincidentally, so did her daddy. What a team these two make!
