With their innovative use of lines and mod shapes in their designs, New Generals sticks out from the crowd. This is especially true in the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. Yes – we have just barely rung in the new year and we’re already talking about the end of it and the beginning of the next – but like New General‘s promise of consistently thinking out of the dress up box – we need to look ahead and get ourselves ready for what is in store for us.
Edgy. Black. Hints of rich plum and deep blue. Shades of gray (get your mind outta the gutter, mamas!). Unexpected use of symmetry, lines, and shapes. Flowing dresses. Sharp jackets. Hidden pockets. Contrasting zippers.
