We were beyond thrilled to receive our Slugs & Snails tights all the way from the UK. It was perfect timing as it has been ridiculously cold this winter – and LD has been aching to wear something OTHER than traditional pants. The cool thing about these sluggers, is that they are in fact, considered pants… and the best part – they’re for boys! Hence, “slugs & snails” <and puppy dog tails>! But that is just a minor detail for our little in-house fashionista who embraces any opportunity to showcase her inner tomboy chic, sugar & spice notwithstanding.

It was no hesitation for LD to select her tights of choice, as we all know her affinity towards bad boy icons like skulls, bones, or a healthy mix of both. So naturally, she selected the Ahoy tights:

But more importantly for us yummy mummies and delish daddies – we are very concerned about quality and comfort for our little ones. The materials made of flexible and soft combed cotton are free of chemicals which is all we want for our little minis, and the environment they play in! How’s that for being responsible?

We love the flexibility and the durability of these adorable bottoms. It’s not easy to find fun designs that reflect our little one’s personality in “pant” form – even in tights. So this was definitely 2 chubby thumbs up for us! We played, we ran, we tumbled, we posed – we did the whole shebang! Not a rip, not a tear, just good ol’ fun times. We definitely recommend these fab tights from Slug & Snails.
At the end of the day – I was especially enlightened by LD‘s quiet moments whilst pondering about life, in her Slugs & Snails tights.
In the meantime, I have more flexibility myself, as these little tights afford me more time that would have otherwise been spent searching high and low for missing socks.
