There’s no (“House of”) lies here, Kristen Bell kept her baby bump gown sweet and elegant for the Golden Globes this past Sunday. Presenting in her lilac silk-chiffon empire dress from Jenny Packham‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Ms. Bell, as far as we’re concerned, stole the show. Check out the gorgeous beaded bodice with it’s intricate detail and the high collar low enough to expose her elegant neck – with the help of her loose pony (boy, she’s definitely ready for the go-to-mama-du, as the rest of us can attest). Absolutely crazy about her matching clutch, and not even too concerned about what’s covering her tootsies, as the romantic flowing train does its job (of covering potentially tired, preggy feet) beautifully.
This is a prime example of how a mommy-to-be can maximize belly exposure, in the most elegant manner. No wonder Dax was all about his woman on the red carpet – she’s one haute mama-to-be…sizzle sizzle!
