Things have been different since the loss of our beloved Pug, Kevin. It’s been months, but there are moments that feel like that dreadful day was just yesterday. We have definitely seen its affect on our Pomchi, Seth – the original baby of the family. Fortunately, and unfortunately – the newest addition to our Fab 5 does not seem to be nearly as affected by Kevin’s departure, as close as they were – but has coincidentally become more tuned in to the existence of her now BFF (Best Furry Friend), and insists on walking him at least 30 times a day. Lucky for Big Daddy, not so lucky for me!
Just as wonderful, is LD‘s inclination to merge her style smarts with her street smarts. It’s so easy to just throw on a ball cap and some play clothes – but LD insists that if you’re going to walk a cute dog – you best be looking cute yourself.
For today’s first of 30 sessions, our little dogwalker wore her Kangol Wool hat,
H&M Imitation Suede Boot in Dark Grey (because the way a toddler handles a boot, they have no business wearing real suede for their daily adventures),
Animal Planet White Tiger 2-in-1 Backpack.
…where she keeps her toy keys, and cell phone.
And of course, her hidden stash of doggie treats.
So when Big Daddy opts to move at his own pace – which is almost always 10 steps ahead or 20 steps behind – LD can definitely count on her BFF to keep her company.
After all, Seth wasn’t born yesterday. He figures, why leave her side when there’s a bag of treats with his name written all over it, hidden in the pockets of those oh-so-trendy Red Stretch Twill Pants?
