It’s Day Two of our 5 Days of Funky, and coincidentally, it’s St. Patrick’s Day. So this time around, we decided to forego the leprechaun-chic look similar to what we did (more like, what the poor little leprechaun succumbed to) 3 years ago, and go for something a little more… subtle.
After all, we are officially 4 years old now (as of yesterday)!
Can someone say, “I’m a big girl now! Whoohoo!”
Little mama jumped, ran, and skipped at the chance to sport her Star Ocean Green Funky-Legs tights in celebration of her fave Saint, color, and occasion today.
If this pair looks familiar to you on LD, it’s probably because she pranced around in this same exact pair a year ago. That’s right – we’ve held on to these bad boys for a good year, and counting. That’s why these are our fave go-to tights when we want a little break from tomboy chic, to have a good dose of purdy.
Speaking of which, my tiny City Girl was more than willing to strike a pose while passerbys stopped for a closer look, tilt their curious heads, and giggle. I mean, who wears Leopard Print Faux Fur hats anyway?
Oh yeah… WE do.
These tights are so comfortable, the little city girl roamed the city streets without any need to readjust or replace (two of the things 4 year olds do about a million times a day!). Made of cotton, polymid, and lycra – she was more than okay to wear these all day long.
When the sun peeked out for all of 3 seconds, we were sans faux fur hat, and little mama continued running errands with mommy meanwhile, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city streets with no complaints. While we were walking hand-in-hand, I asked her if she wanted to change and get more comfy, and her response was, and I quote, “I’m wearing my house clothes mama. I’m wearing my house clothes.” Score on comfort!!
We covered all bases with our pairings today, while keeping things productive: We were comfy, cozy, coordinated and gosh darn, we were cute.
And it all began with one pair of tights.
Our busy morning is now coming to a close and it’s time to rest our tired feet.
