Even as a Stylist, I’m amazed at how a mini-man can sport such a non-mini range of looks, and yet remain as true to himself as the day he came home from the hospital in a footed sleeper. Meet Mr. Versatile – just shy of 4.5 years but definitely not shy when it comes to style. His unassuming, everyday look includes perfectly loose fit jeans (accessorized with a timeless wallet chain of course, circa ’92), an ol’ skool no-nonsense graphic tee, black casual tie-ups, topped off with a charming smile that can melt his mama’s heart along with everyone else’s mama (LD‘s, in particular).
What makes Mr. Versatile exceptionally fashion-forward, is his ability to change his look from head to toe without touching much more than the top of his head.
Case in point – on a brisk, Southern California morning (an oxymoron of sorts – but truth be told, California indeed can have its share of brisk…), Mr. V digs out his fave knitted beanie, not only to keep his adorable little noggin warm, but to bring new meaning to hipster cool.
On the days he’s feeling a little less hipster, and a little more pageboy – he throws on his newsy cap, taps into his inner Jay Gatsby, and slips on his super slick sports jacket adorned with his go-to patterned tie.
But if a hat just won’t cut it – Mr. V knows that all he really needs is some high quality grease and a little ‘tude… And voila! He seamlessly transforms into Rockabilly cute.
And that, my friends, is how a little boy can change his look without really changing anything at all! We definitely dig Mr. V’s style, do you?
Stylishly yours,
